Film Director is needed in Burnaby, Canada.
We are producing a bold, cinematic 60-second commercial to launch a new retail product, ESL ShelfTalkers. The commercial will showcase three distinct characters—a health-conscious shopper, a charming everyday guy, and a bold woman in red—installing shelf talkers in different grocery store aisles. The piece is stylish and silent, centered on the tagline: “We made you look.” We need a film director who can also shoot and edit, bringing creative vision, strong visuals, and confidence behind the camera. You’ll be responsible for directing talent, shooting on location in Burnaby or Vancouver, and delivering a polished 60-second hero video along with three 15-second cutdowns. There is no dialogue, only impactful imagery, transitions, and music. Our team will provide the location, actors, wardrobe, props, and script; we are seeking someone who can bring the project together visually.
