Job Description

This is a remote position.

Front-End Development:

  • Collaborating with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and visually appealing web interfaces.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
  • Integrating third-party libraries and frameworks as needed.

Back-End Development:

  • Developing custom Magento modules and extensions.
  • Implementing server-side logic and APIs.
  • Integrating Magento with other systems (ERP, CRM, payment gateways, etc.).

Database Technologies:

  • Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Designing and optimizing database schemas for performance and scalability.

MVC Architecture:

  • Strong understanding of Magentoโ€™s architecture, including the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern.
  • Building and maintaining Magento themes and templates.

Caching Mechanism:

  • Configuring and optimizing caching mechanisms (e.g., Varnish, Redis, nginx) to improve site performance.
  • Troubleshooting caching-related issues.

Repository Management:

  • Using Git or other version control systems for code management.
  • Collaborating with other developers through pull requests and code reviews.

eCommerce Experience:

  • Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms, especially Magento (both Community and Enterprise editions).
  • Understanding of catalog management, product attributes, pricing, and promotions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Magento Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript libraries (e.g., jQuery, React, Vue.js).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Experience with Magento 2.x (custom module development, theme customization, performance optimization).
  • Knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
  • Understanding of Git and version control.
  • Technical requirement understanding and estimation capability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with other e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
  • Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • BCA or B. Tech
