Documentary rough cut / prep work

Video Editor is needed in Indonesia.

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor for an upcoming documentary project, UNBECOMING, which explores the journey of transformation and self-discovery. Our company, Muse Storytelling, is producing this film and has already completed extensive story-finding, character development, and structured interviews. We need an editor to help craft the narrative using DaVinci Resolve, working closely with our director and story team at a beautiful location in Bali, Indonesia. The edit will take place over 7-10 days (June 30th - July 12th, 2025), with a comfortable office setup, professional equipment, and all footage ready to go.

We would be open to others from talent who are inside Indonesia, and we would get them a reasonable local hotel and a daily per diem for food.

The story follows Nic and Fehren Kusmich, who have achieved great professional success but found themselves searching for deeper meaning, as well as two participants in a transformative, neuroscience-based protocol. This documentary is as much about consciousness and authentic change as it is about breaking narrative conventions and involving the filmmaker in the process.

We value editors who are technically proficient in DaVinci Resolve, collaborative, experienced in documentary or narrative editing, and who appreciate working on a meaningful, creative project. If you are passionate about storytelling and open to a dynamic working environment in Bali, this is a unique opportunity to shape a powerful film and possibly continue working with us in post-production remotely.
