Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CapCut Pro, Opus Clip, Dropbox and possess strong technical skills in video editing and production. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging video content that aligns with our brand’s vision and goals. You will collaborate closely with producers, directors, and other team members to ensure the final product meets high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Edit video footage to create compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
• Utilize various software tools, including CapCut Pro, Opus Clips or alternatives, to enhance video quality and storytelling.
• Collaborate with creative director to understand project objectives and deliver on creative vision.
• Manage video projects through content management systems, ensuring organization and accessibility of files.
• Incorporate 2D animation and graphics into videos as needed to enrich viewer experience.
• Perform quality checks on final edits before delivery, ensuring all content meets technical specifications.
• Utilize FTP for file transfers and manage digital assets efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in video editing software such as CapCut Pro, Opus Clips and Final Cut Pro is essential.
• Familiarity with content management systems for organizing and managing media files.
• Knowledge of 2D animation techniques is a plus.
• Strong understanding of videography principles and techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Creative mindset with strong storytelling abilities through visual media.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
