Red Roots

Actor is needed in Perth, Australia.

I am producing a short film titled ‘Red Roots’ as my third-year university project at Murdoch University, and the film is intended for festival entry. The story follows two sisters grappling with guilt and trauma after the death of one sister’s abusive boyfriend, whom they buried in the woods. The psychological drama explores themes of guilt, memory, trust, and familial protection, with a strong focus on the evolving relationship between the sisters. I am looking for an actor or actress to help bring this project to life, ideally someone available on location in Perth, Australia, for up to a week. Shooting is likely to begin from the week commencing 18/08/2025, and I’m open to reviewing offers based on experience.
