I am seeking an editor for my first self-funded short film, a body horror titled ‘Reptilian Sisterhood,’ set in 1999. The project requires giving the film an authentically ’90s look and feel, with a soft noise look and the implementation of visual effects that were popular in 1999/early 2000s films and nu metal music videos.

The editor will need to refine and finesse the film with a creative eye, give it an authentic 90’s feel (both visually and stylistically), and colourise/colour grade it. You will not need to work on the sound design or music composition, as that will be completed separately.

I’m collaborating with a music band, which is why I want to give it a slightly music video-like feel by keeping things a little snappy and slick, but without sacrificing any tension building.

I have managed to put together a rough cut on Premiere Pro that has a runtime of approximately 7 minutes 5 seconds as a base to follow.

Additonally, the film does require that we will need to work around:
Title Design Animation
VFX: - To clean up some of the practical makeup effects, remove stray bits of prosthetics, and remove the light reflection
3D Composition for a scene transition

Budget range:
Up to £1000 for entire project.
