Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through visual media and possess the technical skills necessary to produce high-quality video content. This role involves working on various projects, from promotional videos to educational content to podcasts, ensuring that each piece aligns with our brand’s vision and objectives.

Duties

• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product that meets project specifications.
• Collaborate with content creators and directors to understand project goals and desired outcomes.
• Utilize software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects, for video editing and post-production tasks.
• Incorporate 2D animation and graphics using tools like Maya and Cinema for enhanced visual storytelling.
• Manage video assets through FTP and Adobe Bridge, ensuring organized storage and easy access for team members.
• Conduct photo editing as needed to complement video content.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve editing skills and output quality.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for content creation, contributing innovative ideas that align with audience engagement strategies.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Davinci, etc).
• Experience with 2D animation techniques; familiarity with Maya or Cinema is a plus.
• Strong understanding of videography principles and content creation processes.
• Knowledge of FTP protocols for file management is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required for consideration.
