Mr. Veru’s Vengeance for Van Gogh
Documentary Filmmaker is needed in Los Angeles, United States.
I am seeking a documentary filmmaker for a personal project set in Los Angeles. The project, titled ‘Mr. Veru’s Vengeance for Van Gogh,’ is a documentary or short film focusing on a contemporary oil painter of Indian heritage, featuring a flashback scene to 1930s Germany. The work involves themes such as art and culture, and I am at the planning and research stage. Experience with topics like mental health, LGBTQ+, science versus art, politics, and religion may be relevant. Filming will require presence in Los Angeles for part of the project, with a preferred timeline for completion to allow submission to film festivals in 2026 or 2027. This is initially a single job with possible follow-up work. I am open to offers regarding the project budget and welcome proposals that fit the outlined requirements.
