We focus on relevance, clarity, and speed — giving our users the key facts at a glance. Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and language-proficient News Curator to work in Indonesian. The role involves shortlisting relevant news articles, summarising them clearly and accurately, and proofreading summaries to ensure quality, readability, and consistency. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong grasp of current events, excellent understanding of the Indonesian language, and a knack for distilling information into digestible bite-sized pieces. Key Responsibilities Search, identify, and shortlist relevant news articles from trusted Indonesian sources. Use Gen-AI to write concise, unbiased, and accurate summaries of shortlisted articles in Indonesian. Proofread and edit summaries to ensure consistent tone, grammar, and clarity. Prioritise stories based on relevance, timeliness, and audience interest. Collaborate with the editorial lead to refine style guidelines. Work with deadlines and contribute regularly to content pipeline. Requirements Native or near-native fluency in Indonesian (written). Excellent summarisation, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong attention to detail and factual accuracy. Ability to filter and select news from credible sources. Familiarity with current events in Indonesia and the global news landscape. Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently. Prior experience in journalism, copyediting, or content curation is a plus. Nice to Have Background in media, communications, or linguistics. Understanding of news ethics and fact-checking. Digital content experience or work with news aggregation apps.
