Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to take raw educational content and create engaging social media videos. The role involves editing video footage to craft compelling narratives, collaborating with team members, and managing video projects from conception through final delivery.

Duties

• Edit video footage to create compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience.
• Collaborate with content creators, producers, and other team members to understand project objectives and requirements.
• Utilize software such as Adobe Illustrator and other editing tools to enhance video quality and visual appeal.
• Manage video projects from conception through final delivery, ensuring timelines are met.
• Conduct thorough proofreading of scripts and captions to maintain accuracy and clarity in all content.
• Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine edits and improve overall quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media management to ensure our content remains relevant and engaging.
• Assist in content creation for various platforms, focusing on public relations strategies that promote brand visibility.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Capcut) along with Adobe Illustrator for graphic integration.
• Strong relationship management skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and e-commerce platforms is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading skills to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• A passion for storytelling through video content that captivates audiences across various social media platforms.

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
