Location: Mostly Remote (Arizona-based preferred; in-person meeting once a month)

Hours: Part-time, 5–15 hours per week to start

Mosaic Magazine is a progressive wedding publication rooted in representation, inclusion, and storytelling that goes beyond “the best day ever.” Married in Mocha is a modern wedding + event company focused on creating celebrations that are authentic, meaningful, and unapologetically true to the couples we serve. Together, we are building a wedding industry space that is bold, inclusive, and human-first.

We’re looking for someone to own our social media and community presence. You’ll be a boundary-pusher who thrives on trends, knows when to lean into them (and when not to), and can translate them into authentic content for our brands. You’ll engage directly with our community of couples, wedding professionals, and creatives, and grow our presence in a meaningful way.

Our biggest goal: We want to be in front of at least 75% of the BIPOC, Latinx, and LGBTQIA+ owned and operated wedding and event creatives across Arizona. Visibility, connection, and relationship-building with these communities is central to your role.

We have an incredibly supportive team, and you’ll receive mentoring and coaching as you grow into the role.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and engagement across Instagram (primary), TikTok, and Facebook.
• Implement our content pillars while pitching creative new series, reels, or campaigns.
• Write captions that feel fresh, engaging, and aligned with our brand voice.
• Grow followers authentically—quality > vanity metrics.
• Respond to DMs, comments, and tagged posts promptly with warmth and personality.
• Build intentional relationships with BIPOC, Latinx, and LGBTQIA+ wedding vendors, businesses, and creatives throughout Arizona.
• Monitor analytics and suggest adjustments for better reach and engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing social media for brands (portfolio or examples required).
• Knowledge of Instagram + TikTok trends, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
• Experience engaging with communities, not just posting.
• A progressive, inclusive mindset AND you’re excited about amplifying underrepresented voices in the wedding industry.
• Comfortable working independently but also collaborative and communicative with a small, creative team.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in weddings/events, lifestyle, or magazines.
• Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design/video editing skills.
• Familiarity with social scheduling tools like Enji.

Additional Information

Work Style

• Remote/freelance, mostly online.
• One-day in-person onboarding to get up to speed with the team and systems.
• Ideally able to meet in person once a month thereafter.
• Opportunity to own and shape this work with guidance and support from a collaborative team.

Compensation

• Starting pay: $16/per hr with room to grow
• 1099 Contractor, part-time, no benefits.
