Job Description

We are seeking a talented graphic designer to elevate the visual experience of Exclaim Recovery, a gambling addiction recovery platform that combines community support, educational resources, and AI-powered therapy assistance. Exclaim Recovery is a comprehensive web application helping individuals overcome gambling addiction through various features such as social community elements, recovery tools, an AI virtual therapist, and extensive educational resources.

Role Overview: We need a designer who can create compassionate, accessible, and engaging designs that support users during vulnerable moments in their recovery journey. You’ll work alongside our front-end engineering team who will handle implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver complete Figma designs with all graphic assets and design system components.
• Create a visual language that balances professionalism with warmth and hope.
• Design responsive layouts optimized for both desktop and mobile experiences.
• Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance in all designs.
• Develop UI/UX for complex features like AI chat interfaces, progress tracking dashboards, and community forums.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating web application design.
• Experience with healthcare, mental health, or recovery-focused platforms (preferred).
• Proficiency in creating design systems and component libraries.
• Understanding of accessibility best practices.
• Experience with data visualization for progress tracking and analytics.
• Bonus: Advanced web animation skills (Lottie, After Effects, CSS animations).
• Bonus: Experience designing AI/chatbot interfaces.
