Book Typesetter (Affinity Publisher or Adobe InDesign)

We are seeking a freelance typesetter to prepare the interior layout of a small hardback book (approximately 160-180 pages) for print publication, aiming for a release before Christmas. The content is black-and-white, letter-format, and includes a preface with a few quote pages throughout. Front cover design will be managed internally, so the focus is solely on typesetting the interior pages. You will set up and lay out the book using Affinity Publisher or Adobe InDesign. The brief includes designing sample pages to establish type style and layout for refinement, incorporating placeholder quote pages, and completing the full typesetting once content is finalized, working to a tight timeline to ensure Christmas delivery. Strong typography skills and experience with book layout for print are essential. Please provide examples of previous book typesetting work to demonstrate your fit for this project.
