Job Description

The Junior Graphic Designer will support the Creative team in producing compelling visual content that represents our brand and resonates with our customers. This role will focus on developing digital assets for our website, social media channels, email campaigns, and other marketing materials. The ideal candidate has a strong design foundation, a collaborative mindset, and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Salary and responsibilities will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Digital Asset Creation: Assist in designing graphics for our e-commerce site, product pages, promotional banners, social media posts, email newsletters, and ads.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure designs align with campaigns, branding guidelines, and business goals.
• Image Editing: Support product photography needs through editing, retouching, and optimizing images for web use.
• Brand Consistency: Help maintain brand aesthetics across all visual touchpoints, ensuring designs are on-brand and industry-relevant.
• Design Research: Stay up to date with design trends and industry best practices to contribute fresh ideas.
• File Organization: Properly maintain digital asset libraries and ensure files are archived for easy access.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 1 year of professional design experience beyond academic coursework (internships, freelance, or agency/in-house work will be considered).
• Experience with video editing and motion graphics.
• Portfolio: Demonstrates creativity, strong design fundamentals, and proficiency in digital asset creation.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong eye for typography, layout, and consistency.
• Communication: Ability to take direction, collaborate effectively, and contribute ideas.
• Organization: Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with beauty, wellness, or fragrance industry trends.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS or experience with web design.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), as well as experience with web design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) is a plus.

Compensation and Work Environment

Classification: Hourly – Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9 AM – 5 PM

Work Environment: Hybrid

Compensation: $26.44 - $29.80/hour
