Job Description:

Our client, a nonprofit, has an immediate need for a temporary to permanent Social Media Specialist to support their organization!

• Manage LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube channels.
• Create and publish content including writing, graphics, and video.
• Design visuals in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Run social media campaigns and promote events/webinars.
• Track and report on analytics to measure campaign success.
• Coordinate with a global communications team based in India, Lagos, and DC.
• Engage with online audiences to increase brand reach and awareness.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in communications or digital media is required.
• Strong experience with nonprofit, climate, or gender equality sectors is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, social media management tools, and WordPress.
• Ability to collaborate across time zones and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Portfolio and cover letter required.

Position Details:

• Pay Rate (TTH): $28-42/hr.
• Salary (perm): $70K-100K.
• Standard 8-hour day with flexibility to collaborate across time zones.
