Job Description

The Graphic Designer works alongside the design team and reports to the Director of Marketing. Duties include designing and producing ongoing print projects, creating and designing marketing materials for clients, and assisting with printing and production duties.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design and produce marketing materials (flyers, postcards, newspaper ads, business cards, brochures, signs, etc.)
• Ensure projects are designed and completed on time
• Communicate with clients on content and art direction
• Assist senior designers with any projects that need assistance
• Assist production artists with less intensive production work, when needed
• Assist in simple printer maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Able to handle interruptions in day-to-day tasks without losing efficiency
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with 100% accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and work under high pressure situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Skill in print design, multi-page layout and branding
• Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 1-3 years of related experience preferred

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
