Job Description

The Digital and Social Media Strategist will help lead the development of insight-driven digital and social media engagement strategies for assigned healthcare clients and new business development. He/she will be a primary day-to-day client contact and manage digital and social media account teams, efficiently servicing each of these accounts simultaneously. As a member of the Digital & Social Strategy team, you will:

• Collaborate with account teams to conceptualize and execute digital and social media programs for several healthcare clients.
• Be a resourceful, energetic individual who is a creative problem solver.
• Work independently to complete discrete pieces of larger projects and deliver client-ready work to account teams.
• Review analytics and compile monthly metrics reports.
• Possess a deep curiosity about the latest trends in social media and digital marketing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the digital and social strategy and execution for various client accounts, building communications plans and integrated campaigns.
• Understand client business goals and objectives, clearly communicating the connection between digital/social recommendations and business goals.
• Research and stay updated on digital and social media trends, platforms, and developments.
• Manage account teams, mentor colleagues, and facilitate cross-team collaboration.
• Ensure strong partnerships and alignment with overall digital and social strategy across Syneos Health.
• Generate positive, measurable results that impact the bottom line.
• Develop dynamic social media content for online editorial calendars across various verticals.
• Help to develop and execute paid social media strategies across relevant channels.
• Prepare engagement and measurement reports for clients.
• Participate in team brainstorms to translate social media insights into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role, including healthcare/pharma experience.
• Comfort working in cross-functional teams and interacting with diverse individuals daily.
• Stay abreast of current and emerging digital and social media technology and platforms, especially in healthcare.
• Knowledge of the rules and regulations in the pharma industry.
• An energetic team player with a collaborative spirit and influence.
• Experience developing content calendars and assets, and knowledge of social channel requirements.
• Experience managing paid social media campaigns is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office Suite and social platform promotion/metrics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
