Job Description

FairSquare is seeking a Junior UI/UX Designer for a temporary position for 3 months, which may be extended for an additional 3 months, with the possibility of converting to a permanent role. This position is in the Marketing department, located in the Maitland area of Orlando, FL. The job offers a hybrid schedule, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a pay range of $32.00 to $40.00 per hour. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging visual designs for web and mobile applications, including UI components, forms, and full pages
• Transform wireframes and concepts into polished visual designs
• Build and customize websites using Webflow and WordPress
• Collaborate with UX designers, front-end developers, and project managers
• Ensure designs are technically feasible
• Create and maintain design documentation and specifications for development handoff
• Implement responsive designs across multiple platforms and devices
• Help maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills for digital products
• Proficiency in Figma
• Experience building and customizing websites with Framer
• Working knowledge of WordPress themes and customization
• Understanding of front-end development principles, including HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• Experience with or willingness to learn AI-assisted design tools like Cursor
• Familiarity with how AI can be integrated into design workflows
• Knowledge of atomic/component design and token design systems
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate design decisions
• Mobile and web design experience
• Possesses empathy soft skills
• Self-motivated
• Exhibits a collaborative mindset
• Has well-developed critical thinking skills
