Job Description
The Senior Product Designer will take the lead in shaping key products and features for mobile apps in the healthcare space, specifically for diabetes. This is a hands-on role that requires the designer to work closely with cross-functional teams to turn complex human needs into clear, intuitive digital experiences, crafting user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for both web and mobile applications.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience as a Senior Product Designer.
- Must provide a portfolio link with resume (submissions without a portfolio will be rejected).
- Experience should include consumer product design (must-have), and ideally some background in healthcare, start-ups, AI, and customer service.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design/Human Factors or a related field.
Technical & Design Skills:
- Strong interaction and visual design skills across platforms.
- Experience in designing hybrid experiences (iOS and Android).
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Suite.
- Ability to create and maintain design systems.
- High fidelity prototyping and animation skills preferred for one of the roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with usability and accessibility in design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to various stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead design for web and mobile applications, creating intuitive, human-centered experiences.
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visually appealing mockups.
- Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to ensure product feasibility and quality.
Contract Details
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $68.00 - $72.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week
