Job Description

We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager (Independent Contractor) to grow our women’s clothing brand’s presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Lemon8. This role focuses on transforming existing content into engaging posts, developing new creative ideas, and maintaining a consistent, on-brand voice. The contractor will work independently, managing their own schedule while meeting agreed-upon deadlines and deliverables.

Requirements

• Repurpose existing content into posts for Instagram, TikTok, and Lemon8.
• Develop creative strategies, hooks, captions, and direction for new content.
• Guide and coordinate with team members or UGC creators to produce content aligned with brand goals.
• Capture behind-the-scenes content as needed for social storytelling.
• Schedule and post on Instagram 3x per week.
• Engage with similar accounts and communities to build awareness.
• Repost customer content featuring the brand.
• Collaborate with the ad strategist on ad creatives.
• Contribute to photoshoot planning and overall content direction.
• Deep understanding of social media trends, tone, and audience behavior.
• Strong creative instincts and understanding of brand identity.
• Proficient with Canva, CapCut, or similar editing tools (Photoshop not required).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and copywriting skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines independently.
• Bonus: Pinterest expertise or Meta ad experience (additional pay available).

Compensation

• $500–$1,500 per month, based on experience and scope.
• Additional compensation available for candidates with proven Meta Ads experience.
