Job Description

The Social Media Graphic Designer will support LOVB’s social media efforts at both a league and team level. The role focuses on conceiving and creating assets that foster digital connections among LOVB Pro, LOVB Clubs, athletes, and the fan base. This position involves generating fresh ideas, designing eye-catching visuals, and ensuring content resonates on various social platforms.

Requirements

Objectives:

• Develop and design high-quality graphics for social media and other digital content
• Create visually appealing imagery for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others
• Ensure all graphics adhere to LOVB brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across channels
• Assist in developing social media content strategies and contribute creative ideas for campaigns
• Collaborate with social leads and team creators to produce cohesive content
• Keep up with design and social media trends to maintain visual relevance
• Organize designs and templates across various platforms and brands
• Utilize graphic design software like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Produce animations or motion graphics as needed using After Effects

Competencies:

• Knowledge of social media platforms and their design requirements
• Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in both paid and organic design perspectives

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field preferred but not required
• Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in social media or digital marketing (3+ years)
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous social media graphic design work
• Understanding of volleyball
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks
• Team player with a strong fan focus
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
