Job Summary

DMACC Marketing and Public Relations is searching for a talented part-time, temporary production designer to handle the final stages of a design project. Responsibilities include formatting and resizing graphics, applying color corrections and effects, editing layouts, checking and fixing errors, and optimizing files for different platforms. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to follow instructions accurately, and effective communication skills are required.

Essential Functions

Concept and design promotional materials for the College and programs, including traditional and digital ads, effective event materials, displays, and signs. Coordinate and communicate jobs with customers and vendors.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Two to three years of experience in graphic design. Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, and Project Management Software (Asana, Trello, etc). Strong self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects with concurrent timelines and competing deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with an advertising agency is a plus. Experience designing ad creative for digital display, paid social media, web, print publications, and marketing collateral. Graphic design experience with a design firm, public relations firm, or educational institution.
