Job Description

The Graphic Designer I is a visual storyteller on Under Armour’s Global Creative Team, energized by the power of sport and engaged in digital at every customer touchpoint. This role plays a vital part in supporting Global Retail by bringing the best conceptual and visual expression of UA’s brand to life, targeting the Focused Performer demographic. The individual will collaborate with marketers, art directors, and writers to create transformative storytelling and experiences that deepen brand connection.

• Understanding of design systems and digital templates.
• Strong advocacy for the brand with expertise on products.
• Knowledge of design trends, art, sport, culture, and email design best practices.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality output.
• Reliable and accountable in meeting commitments.
• Belief in shaping the future of UA design.
• Excellent diverse portfolio of work required with application (examples of email marketing, digital ads, online content).
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and presentation software.
• Strong rapid visualization skills including hand sketching and digital wireframes.
• Innovative aesthetic with a high taste level.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, consumer-focused test-and-learn environment.
• Commitment to developing leadership skills and mentoring junior designers.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Mac platforms.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a design-related field or extensive experience.
• 2-4+ years of graphic or digital design experience.
• Experience with email design and e-commerce is essential.
• Collaborative experience with cross-departmental teams and senior leadership.

Workplace Location

• Location: Must reside within commuting distance from Baltimore, MD office.

Base Compensation

$63,555.60 - $87,388.95 USD. Initial placement within this range is based on individual relevant experience and skills. The salary is part of Under Armour’s Total Rewards package that supports career development.
