This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- 40 hours per week
- US Eastern Standard Time business hours
- Client Timezone: Eastern Standard Time
The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, and passionate about creating authentic connections between brands and their audiences. We are looking for a Social Media Community Manager to build, nurture, and engage our online community across all digital platforms. This role combines creativity, communication, and data-driven strategy to strengthen brand presence, foster meaningful conversations, and cultivate loyal followers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to foster a positive and interactive community across all social media platforms.
- Create and monitor content across various social media platforms, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives.
- Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.
- Oversee and manage community challenges, competitions, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure brand consistency and timely response to concerns.
- Liaise with influencers and other relevant entities to promote brand awareness and community growth.
- Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
- Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans.
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends and emerging platforms to ensure maximum community reach and engagement.
Requirements
- Proven work experience in community management or a similar role.
- Experience with creating and curating content for social media.
- Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, Windows, and Google tools.
- Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels.
- Attention to detail, critical-thinker, and problem-solving skills.
Highly Regarded Skills and Experience
- Previous experience or interest in the specific industry.
- Email campaign, copywriting, and list management experience.
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Canva or similar software.
