Social Media Manager

Social Media Manager is needed in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

We are a premium hair salon in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, targeting mid-to-high end customers. We are seeking a part-time Social Media Manager to help us maintain a polished and consistent brand image across Instagram, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Facebook, and WhatsApp. The ideal candidate will take ownership of content creation, community management, and social media strategy. The role is remote/hybrid with flexible hours and would suit someone who manages multiple clients. Responsibilities include building and executing monthly content calendars, creating visual assets (posts, stories, short-form videos), managing our online community by responding to messages and comments, monitoring KPIs, and collaborating with our salon manager on promotional content. Must have at least 2 years of experience managing social content, preferably in the beauty, lifestyle, or salon sector, and a strong portfolio of Instagram/TikTok posts. Experience with Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, and basic photo/video editing is required. Good copywriting skills and the ability to work independently while keeping a consistent brand voice are essential. Experience running paid ad campaigns and with salon content would be a plus. Candidates will be asked to provide a portfolio and may complete a paid trial assignment if shortlisted.
