Job Description

NTT Data is hiring an Instructional Designer to join our team working remotely. This is a 6-month temporary position with the possibility of an extension. The pay rate is $30/hour. The role involves providing instructional design expertise as part of the Learning and Development team. Responsibilities include performing task analysis, developing or enhancing training materials, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure effective training solutions are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multiple internal learning projects varying in size and complexity.
• Consult with clients, subject matter experts, and internal client partners to understand learning needs and define successful measures.
• Assess, evaluate, and propose solutions plans to improve current training programs.
• Design and develop end-to-end learning solutions, including preparing learning materials such as participant and facilitator workbooks, presentations, and job aids.
• Liaise with Training Design Manager throughout the design and development process for content validation.
• Facilitate/lead Train-the-Trainer sessions for various client programs.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews to enhance course content and sustain desired behaviors.
• Provide ongoing support with maintenance reviews of existing learning programs.
• Participate in discussions and maintenance of existing training courses in line with NTT DATA Learning and Development strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in adult learning practices related to training needs assessment and content development for e-learning and virtual delivery.
• Adult education diploma, certificate, or degree with in-depth knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and estimate time accurately for deliverables.
• Experience working on multiple projects independently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in designing interactive eLearning modules including various formats (videos, screen-recordings, podcasts).
• Experience in developing scripts or storyboards for digital content, including video and guides.
• Proficient with tools such as Vyond, Articulate 360, Office 365, MS Teams, Audacity, Snag-it.
• Experience creating and editing voiceovers using AI-based text-to-speech applications.

Preferred

• Experience facilitating through MS Teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting hourly range for this remote role is $30.00/hour, reflecting the minimum and maximum target compensation across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and technical skills. This position is eligible for company benefits, which may include medical, dental, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, and participation in a 401k program with a company match.
