Job Description

VATIK is a results-driven marketing agency seeking a reliable and creative Freelance Web Designer for ongoing work. Our clients are mostly in the service industry (think contractors), and we need clean, high-converting websites with a heavy focus on UX and SEO. This is a remote, flexible role with a steady stream of projects ranging from full site builds to landing pages and occasional website tweaks or redesigns. If you love crafting sleek designs with marketing performance in mind, this could be a great long-term fit.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of web design projects (especially marketing or service-industry sites)
• Proficiency with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
• Experience with WordPress (Elementor preferred), Webflow, or other no-code/low-code platforms
• A balance of creativity and practicality—you know how to make things look great and convert
• Understanding of mobile-first design, basic SEO principles, and user experience flows
• Bonus: Familiarity with Google Analytics, CRO principles, or basic HTML/CSS

What You’ll Do

• Design and build responsive websites and landing pages optimized for conversions
• Create polished mockups and prototypes before development (Figma, XD, or similar)
• Collaborate with our marketing and development teams to ensure strategic goals are reflected in the design
• Implement or update pages using drag-and-drop builders (e.g., Elementor, Webflow, or similar)
• Occasionally design supporting assets like banners, icons, or pop-ups
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and UX best practices

Application Process

Submit a web design portfolio. SaaS, e-commerce, and cryptocurrency site designs will not be considered. Service-based sites such as contractors, remodelers, construction, law, and medical preferred.
