Job Description

As a Seasonal Graphic Designer at MGM Resorts International, you will work on call to bring creativity and innovation to our marketing efforts for special projects and events. This role offers an exciting opportunity to significantly impact our team through your design skills.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in graphic design is required
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required
• Ability to work on-call and maintain mandatory attendance for pre-established dates is preferred
• Experience using Mac operating systems is highly preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is highly preferred
• Experience with 3D software programs, like SketchUp, is highly preferred

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and create simple campaigns and low-profile jobs from concept to completion
• Work with creative management to ensure that designs meet corporate and client expectations, budgets, and deadlines
• Stay current in design trends and styles in various media, including digital and social channels
• Generate high-quality comps for presentation or review
• Modify or revise complex digitals to ensure they RIP correctly and print properly for a variety of media
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type
• Use various tools, applications, and computer software to generate new images
• Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer
• Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, infographics, and other artwork using computer applications

Additional Information

The starting rate for this position is $26 per hour.
