Job Description

We are looking for a Graphic Designer 1 to join our close-knit, high-performing team at a rapidly growing software solutions company that has seen triple-digit growth over the last 5 years. This position is located in Santa Clara, CA and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on UX designer with experience in SaaS and enterprise software environments, who can quickly understand complex business challenges and translate them into high-velocity wireframes that drive ideation.

Responsibilities

• Researching and understanding user needs and behaviors through methods like user interviews, surveys, and product analysis.
• Creating user personas and user flows to identify key user journeys and pain points.
• Creating mind maps and user flows.
• Understanding the front-end development process (basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS is a plus).
• Applying and promoting our design thinking and design system.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, including Product Managers, to create quick design concepts and prototypes aligned with business goals and technical constraints.
• Conducting usability testing and gathering feedback from users to refine designs.
• Iterating on designs and testing new features to improve the user experience.
• Creating high-fidelity and low-fidelity designs for multiple platforms including mobile and web.
• Creating prototypes for user testing and validation.
• Leveraging Figma’s AI-powered workflows for rapid prototyping and collaboration with senior leadership.
• Understanding cloud-native app development concepts, including DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Supporting written and verbal communication to plan further work and document ideas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Preference for 5+ years of experience in design with Enterprise SaaS software products.
• Proficient in Visual Design and Information Architecture.
• Experience with Figma is required.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS software products is essential.
• Experience with analytics products or new AI software is a plus.
• Able to ideate, iterate, learn, and improve designs based on feedback from senior leadership.
