Job Description

Dragonfruit Media is an agency that helps businesses and creators maximize engagement, revenue, and impact on YouTube by leveraging the power of human storytelling. With a focus on amplifying marginalized voices and tackling systemic problems, we have partnered with notable clients including Ryan Deiss, David Perell, Linktree, and Ali Abdaal. As we scale rapidly this quarter, we are seeking an exceptional thumbnail designer to create engaging thumbnail images for YouTube from concept to completion.

Requirements

Who you are:

• You have a knack for visual aesthetics and may have edited videos in the past.
• You pride yourself on your people and communication skills.
• You are obsessive about using data and feedback to improve your craft.
• You are tech-savvy and learn new software quickly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define the look, feel, and overall design language of future thumbnails using client-specific brand guidelines.
• Create 3-6 thumbnails per week.
• Maintain awareness of current and evolving trends in YouTube thumbnails.
• Offer suggestions for improvement of design processes and branding.
• Track analytics and market trends.
• Conduct A/B testing on thumbnails to assess what is effective.
• Contribute to headlines, descriptions, and tags for YouTube videos.
