About Camelott®: Camelott® installs lockdown alarm systems across the UK, primarily for schools. We also provide managed print and photocopier solutions as a secondary service. With Martyn’s Law (Protect Duty) due to be introduced from April 2025, organisations that host 200+ members of the public will have a legal obligation to strengthen their emergency preparedness and security procedures. Our aim is to educate duty holders on their responsibilities and offer practical solutions regarding lockdown alert systems.

Project Overview: We are looking for a professional social media freelancer or agency who can manage our social channels with a focus on raising awareness of Martyn’s Law, demonstrating the importance of lockdown alarms in safeguarding, and generating enquiries. The role must maintain a professional tone and communicate clearly with various stakeholders in the education and public sectors.

  • X / Twitter

What We Expect Each Month (~£300 Budget):

  • Minimum 3 professional posts per week per platform
  • Content must be factual, responsible, and legally accurate
  • Topics include: lockdown procedures, safeguarding standards, Martyn’s Law updates, duties of care, real use cases
  • No trend-based posts or informal content
  • Basic branded graphics/visuals included
  • Optional: paid ad management (price separately)
  • Monthly insights report (reach, engagement, enquiries)

Objective: To work long-term with a freelancer who understands the seriousness of the subject and can help Camelott become the trusted provider of lockdown systems. The budget may increase based on success and incoming orders. The individual or company must handle the entire process without subcontracting. High English proficiency is mandatory, and no 100% deposits will be accepted.
