Job Description

We are a small company located in Woodstock that produces a unique line of artisan jewelry sold to specialty stores across the US. Our creative studio environment focuses on thoughtfully developing each collection, from the initial design to final product photography and catalog layout. We are seeking a creative individual with proficient Photoshop skills to assist with editing jewelry product photography and creating seasonal catalogs. This role requires partial in-office attendance, with the option to work remotely for certain responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Photo Editing
• Retouch and color-correct product photos for catalogs and websites.
• Conduct print tests to ensure color accuracy for physical marketing materials.
• Graphic Design & Marketing
• Design and update seasonal catalogs, flyers, postcards, and trade show materials.
• Create digital promotional materials for email and social media.
• Product Photography
• Photograph new jewelry collections (equipment is provided).
• E-Commerce & Website Support
• Upload and manage products on platforms like Shopify, Faire, and WordPress.
• Update website visuals and content with new imagery and product collections.
• Jewelry Production
• Assist in assembling new jewelry collections and fulfilling orders.

Requirements

Qualifications for the role include:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with advanced Photoshop skills.
• Proficient skills in photo editing specifically for product photography.
• Ability to expand upon existing design layouts and elements that align with the brand.
• Experience with print production and basic color accuracy testing.
• Knowledge of color theory is a major plus.
• Familiarity with Shopify, Faire, and/or WordPress is beneficial.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic comfort with printers, digital files, and general technology.
• Photography experience is a plus but not required.

Additional Information

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
