Full Stack Developer is needed in Nairobi, Kenya.

I’m building an online marketplace where clients can browse vendor profiles, communicate privately, and make payments directly on the site. The platform should be able to launch smoothly with a small group of sellers but needs to be designed to scale as more vendors and products, both physical and digital, are added. The marketplace requires a multi-vendor framework for onboarding and managing vendors, a messaging system tied to listings and orders, and an integrated payment gateway that supports split payments and escrow, particularly with Paybill/Mpesa options. The front end should be elegant and responsive, built using modern JavaScript frameworks, and the back end should use scalable technologies like Laravel, Django, or Node.js. I expect robust security, strong performance, and good SEO from the start, alongside admin controls for users, inventory, and transactions. Version control and clear documentation are a must. Key acceptance criteria include vendor onboarding (with vetting for now), seamless client-vendor interaction, automated payment splits, high performance standards, and well-documented code.
