Job Description
Stencil VR is seeking a passionate and creative Community & Social Media Manager to engage with our growing community of artists, muralists, and creators. This role will involve being the voice of Stencil, advocating for our community, answering questions, coordinating content, and fostering a supportive space for artists to share their work.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in social media and community management or relevant customer service experience.
- Excellent Communicator: Friendly and professional tone with strong writing skills for both marketing and customer support.
- Organized & Proactive: Ability to manage multiple platforms, a content calendar, and an inbox efficiently.
- Creator-Savvy: Skills in building authentic relationships with creators and managing collaborations.
- Bonus Points: Familiarity with Meta Quest headset and the VR/MR ecosystem, or a personal connection to the art world (e.g., artist, muralist, crafter, or enthusiast).

Role: Community & Social Media Manager (Contract)
Pay: $40 USD / hour
Hours: ~20 hours per week
Location: Remote
Future: Contract position with potential for more hours or full-time employment for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Front-line Support & Engagement: Respond to support inquiries and engage with the community with empathy and enthusiasm.
- Social Media Management: Curate and share user-generated content, collaborate with creators for engaging original content, and showcase the app and community.
- Community Building: Manage and grow social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Discord), start conversations, and share updates while writing occasional blog posts.
- Creator Management: Build and run the creator/ambassador program, discovering new artists, coordinating collaborations, and maintaining relationships.
