Job Description

MBE Policy Alliance, Inc. is seeking a Graphic Designer to support marketing and brand development for various conferences. We host some of the region’s most impactful events for small, minority, and community-based businesses. This role focuses on producing high-quality visual materials that elevate sponsor visibility, event presence, and public engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design promotional materials including flyers, brochures, signage, digital ads, and presentation decks.
• Create cohesive branding and visual identity elements across print and digital platforms.
• Develop sponsor and partner graphics for event marketing and outreach campaigns.
• Prepare production-ready files for print vendors and event display companies.
• Collaborate with internal event planning team to ensure brand consistency and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent professional tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating clean layout, typography, and event or campaign design experience.
• Ability to work on deadlines with shifting priorities, especially around event timelines.
• Experience creating materials for conferences, trade shows, or public-facing brand activations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to polished, professional work.

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Knowledge of printing formats, large-format signage, or vendor-ready file specs.
• Familiarity with branding for civic, nonprofit, or economic development organizations.
