Dragonfruit Media is an agency that helps businesses and creators maximize engagement, revenue, and impact on YouTube by leveraging the power of human storytelling. We focus on amplifying marginalized voices, teaching valuable insights, and tackling systemic problems. Our notable clients include Ryan Deiss, David Perell, Linktree, and Ali Abdaal.

We are currently experiencing rapid growth and are seeking an exceptional thumbnail designer to create YouTube thumbnail images from concept to completion. You will be part of a small, fun-loving team that values autonomy and creative expression. Team members enjoy balancing work meetings with playful games like Among Us, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

This role allows for remote work from anywhere in the world, though co-working opportunities may be available in San Francisco or Los Angeles.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Define the look, feel, and overall design language of future thumbnails, following brand guidelines specific to each client.
• Create 3-6 thumbnails per week.
• Stay informed about current and evolving trends in YouTube thumbnails.
• Offer suggestions for improvement of design processes and branding.
• Track analytic and market trends related to thumbnails.
• Conduct A/B testing on thumbnails to determine effectiveness.
• Contribute to the development of headlines, descriptions, and tags on YouTube videos.
