Job Description

We’re looking for a Freelance Social Media Manager/Strategist in New York who understands that good social media is really about telling stories. You’ll help us create content for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Substack, and YouTube. This is freelance work with flexible hours perfect if you love storytelling and want the freedom to do your best work.

Requirements

Must Have:

• 3+ years doing social media strategy and management
• Experience working with beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or hospitality brands
• Ability to build a content strategy and see it through
• Understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Substack and how they work
• Strong strategic thinking—ability to spot opportunities and plan ahead
• Knowledge of platform trends and audience behavior
• Ability to use social media scheduling tools and read analytics
• Experience managing social accounts and community engagement
• Experience working with creative teams (directing, not creating)
• Based in London, UK (mostly remote, but able to meet up sometimes)

Nice to Have:

• Creative Agency experience
• Experience managing multiple client accounts
• Experience working with content creators and ability to brief them
• Background in marketing, communications, or brand strategy
• Experience with influencer partnerships or collaboration
