Job Description
Job Title: UI/UX Designer (Part Time)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and county subject matter experts to gather user interface requirements.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups for the new Dashboard and Lite/Refine search modes.
- Conduct usability testing sessions and iterate on designs based on feedback.
- Ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and Section 508 standards.
- Work with front-end developers to translate design specifications into functional components.
- Support documentation of design standards, patterns, and accessibility validations.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design for enterprise or government web applications.
- Expertise with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Demonstrated experience implementing accessible and responsive web design.
- Strong understanding of information architecture and front-end workflows.
- Experience collaborating within Agile development teams.
