Job Description
As an Assistant Social Media Manager at Co-op Wholesale, you will be a pivotal part of our new Customer Experience team, responsible for defining our social media presence, creating engaging content, and ensuring our brand stands out online. This role focuses primarily on utilizing LinkedIn to build strong B2B relationships, drive engagement, and attract new business opportunities. Your contributions will help shape our social media strategy and bolster our market position as a leader in the B2B sector.
Requirements
Experience: Experience managing social media for B2B audiences and hands-on experience running paid and owned LinkedIn campaigns.
Skills: Strong creative and copywriting skills, with a keen understanding of tone, storytelling, and visual content. Ability to tailor content for different platforms, alongside confidence using social media management and analytics tools.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and deliver a social media strategy that aligns with our brand and business goals.
- Lead paid and organic LinkedIn campaigns to retain and attract partners.
- Own and grow B2C channels (Instagram and Facebook), creating campaigns that convert engagement into in-store visits.
- Create and schedule content targeting various audiences to meet campaign objectives.
- Share content including partner success stories, new business wins, and leadership updates.
- Monitor engagement, conduct A/B tests, and utilize insights to enhance performance.
- Support crisis communications and reputation management in collaboration with PR and Communications teams.
- Share social media best practices with teams across wholesale.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: £44,880 plus various benefits. These include:

Location
