About the Project: Siren Sound is producing a first-run merch line for a fast-growing, women-focused podcast with a highly engaged audience (primarily women 25–34). The show is bold, contemporary, socially aware, and rooted in women’s empowerment and cultural commentary. We’re looking for a designer who can translate that spirit into stylish, modern merch that listeners will be excited to wear and share.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For: We need a freelance designer to create a small collection of merch concepts, potentially including:

  • T-shirts and crewnecks
  • Tote bags
  • Stickers
  • Mugs or small accessories

Designs should feel modern, clean, and shareable, standing out on social platforms and resonating with a predominantly female audience tuned into pop culture, social trends, and unapologetically expressive messaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3-5 initial merch concepts based on creative direction and brand tone
  • Deliver production-ready artwork (vector files, print files, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with our team to refine designs
  • Provide options optimized for multiple merch formats (apparel, accessories, etc.)

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing merch design or graphic design for consumer products
  • Clear understanding of design trends popular with women 25–34
  • Ability to create clean, bold, culturally relevant designs
  • Comfortable receiving direction and iterating quickly
  • Experience preparing files for print/on-demand production (experience with fourthwall a plus)
