Job Description

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join a Consumer HealthTech Startup in Miami, FL. This position is hybrid, requiring onsite presence three days a week for collaboration. The ideal candidate will start as soon as possible, with a contract-to-hire duration of 3–6 months leading to potential conversion. Applicants are required to include a portfolio showcasing both mobile and web design examples.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on UI/UX design experience for web and mobile applications

• Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, variants, and design systems

• Experience conducting UX discovery activities such as user interviews, journey mapping, and usability testing

• Ability to translate business requirements and product ideas into low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes

• Solid understanding of accessibility principles (WCAG) and inclusive design

• Collaborative experience with Product Managers and Engineers in an Agile environment

• Ability to create and maintain a scalable design system and component library

• Comfortable presenting design rationale to stakeholders and incorporating feedback constructively

• Preferred: Experience designing flows for onboarding, dashboards, and transactional user journeys

• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to advocate for the user while balancing business goals
