Social Media Manager for Animated FilmUrgent

Instrumental is an animated film and youth-empowerment brand set in Chicago’s Bronzeville with a strong urban vibe. The story follows Harmony, a 10-year-old violinist, and blends culture, music, imagination, and community. The project includes a feature film, picture book, social content, teasers, and launch-phase marketing.

We are seeking a creative, strategic Social Media Manager to develop, grow, and manage the social presence of Instrumental across 1–2 primary platforms (Instagram, TikTok) and support launch-phase visibility during December–January. The ideal candidate understands youth-focused storytelling, vibrant visual branding, and culturally grounded marketing. Experience supporting film launches, entertainment campaigns, or creative-brand rollouts is a major plus. Responsibilities include content creation and strategy, platform management, and launch support, with work focused on building a consistent brand voice and engaging Chicago youth audiences. Proficiency in Canva is required and experience with short-form video editing is a plus.
