Job Description

Lingokids is seeking a Social Media Manager (Freelance) to manage its organic social media presence across all platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X. The role requires a strong focus on social media strategy, content calendar building, analytics reports support, UGC collaboration, and community management. This position blends strategy, structure, and creativity with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content consistently.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning:

• Build and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars across all platforms.
• Map IP-driven content into channel strategies.
• Support product and marketing beats such as launches, partnerships, and awards.

Content Creation & Publishing:

• Write channel-appropriate copy for various platforms.
• Adapt copy for B2C and B2B audiences as needed.
• Support the creation of carousels, video scripts, captions, and metadata.
• Ensure brand voice consistency across all channels.

Short-Form Video Execution:

• Brief, review, and/or assemble short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
• Maintain publishing cadence and coordinate with design/motion teams.

UGC & Community Content:

• Source, brief, and manage UGC creators on content needs.
• Review submissions to ensure alignment with brand and safety guidelines.

Data & Analytics:

• Track performance metrics weekly (views, engagement, reach, retention).
• Identify top-performing content and recommend optimizations based on insights.

Partnership & PR Support:

• Adapt social copy for collaborations and support award announcements.
• Write LinkedIn posts showcasing internal achievements and partnerships.

Internal Coordination:

• Work with various teams to sync messaging and ensure legal compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing social media for brands (preferably in consumer apps, kids/family, entertainment, or EdTech).
• Strong copywriting skills across B2C and B2B contexts.
• Ability to build and manage structured content calendars.
• Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube algorithms and trends.
• Experience coordinating motion/design teams to deliver assets.
• Familiarity with UGC workflows and influencer coordination.
• Ability to simplify complex product messaging.
• Fluent in English, with comfort working in fast-moving teams.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with large IP partners (e.g., Disney, Netflix).
• Basic video editing skills for short-form content.
• Understanding of early childhood learning or family digital products.
• Knowledge of social listening or analytics tools (e.g., Metricool, Brandwatch).
