Job Description

A growing professional services business in the global education and training industry is seeking a talented part-time Graphic Designer to support ongoing content development for educator-facing training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design with specialized skills in data visualization, infographic creation, and content organization. This individual will collaborate closely with the founder to refine complex educational concepts into clear, engaging visual materials for use in presentations, digital brochures, handouts, and social media content. The role is ideal for an independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.

Work Schedule

• Part-time: 20 hours per week
• Working days: Monday to Friday
• Time zone alignment: Preference for overlapping hours with US Pacific or Eastern Time zone (flexible)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with founder to interpret educational content and develop visually cohesive training materials
• Design and refine PowerPoint/keynote presentations, digital guidebooks, and handouts for professional educator training
• Create visually engaging infographics and data visualizations based on complex educational concepts and developmental frameworks
• Organize and distill large volumes of text and worksheets into streamlined, branded visuals
• Support brand development by maintaining design consistency across all external-facing materials
• Create social media content (e.g., infographic posts, visual quotes) for platforms such as LinkedIn, aligned with training topics
• Use AI or digital tools when applicable to streamline infographic or data visualization output
• Collaborate on visual representation of evolving keynote speeches, workshop sessions, and digital training guides

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field
• 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in the education or training industry
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Canva, Figma, or similar tools
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Flourish, Excel-based tools, or AI-enhanced visualization platforms)
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex information and synthesize it into clean, user-friendly visual content
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge or experience working with educational materials, child development, or pedagogy is a strong plus
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with a founder or visionary leader
