Job Description

We are a small, creative bakery specializing in custom cookies and edible printed designs. We are looking for a part-time, remote graphics designer to support our team by creating whimsical, hand-drawn–style cookie artwork mockups for client approval. This is a behind-the-scenes creative role, and you will not communicate with customers, handle money, answer phones, or manage orders. We provide inspiration and direction — you create the mockups.

Requirements

• Strong experience using Canva
• Ability to create or adapt whimsical, hand-drawn–style designs
• Comfortable using your own preferred design tools (Procreate, Illustrator, etc.) as long as final work is delivered in Canva
• Good attention to detail, especially sizing and print readiness
• Ability to follow creative direction while adding thoughtful design touches
• Reliable, communicative, and comfortable working independently
• Appreciation for working with a small, creative business

Job Responsibilities

• Create whimsical, hand-drawn–looking artwork suitable for edible/food printing
• Work directly inside our Canva templates to build clean, polished mockups
• Use inspiration, themes, colors, wording, and sizing details provided by us
• Ensure artwork is correctly sized and formatted for food printers
• Prepare designs so they are easy for us to review and submit to clients
• Deliver designs within agreed-upon turnaround times (typically 24–48 hours)

What You Won’t Do

• No customer communication
• No emails, calls, or texts with clients
• No handling payments, invoices, or money
• No order management or scheduling

Hours and Pay

• Part-time, approximately 8–10 hours per week
• Fully remote
• Hours are flexible and based on workload (as needed, not fixed days)
• Weekly hour cap with clear turnaround expectations
• Pay range: $18–25 dollars per hour, based on experience

Additional Information

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
