Job Description

This position works with the Director of Marketing and Commercial Marketing Manager to execute graphic design and visual creative needs in support of marketing strategies that promote ReActiv8 for Mainstay Medical’s Global Commercial businesses (U.S.A, Australia, United Kingdom, and Europe). The role requires advanced professional graphic design acumen and the ability to thrive in an in-person, ever-changing creative environment. The candidate will work on a variety of design projects supporting patient-facing, physician-facing, and internal company brand tones.

Requirements

Core Competencies

• Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in the medical industry.
• Ability to translate ideas into clear and concise visual storytelling.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital assets in varying artistic styles.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma (or willingness to learn), Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills regarding workload and project completion estimates.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, visual media, digital media or similar preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design and digital art.
• Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
• Competent technical designer with an eye for layout.
• Willingness to learn about medical and spine procedures; MedTech experience is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate and effectively communicate on projects.
• Comfortable in an in-person working environment in downtown San Diego.
• Technologically savvy, with a hands-on approach to learning new solutions.
• Willingness to collaborate with diverse teams/individuals.

The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $91,000/year; base pay will consider job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
