Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team as an Independent Contractor. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while contributing to a variety of visual projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in digital art, branding, and visual design, with experience in both print and digital media. As a key member of our creative team, you will help shape the visual identity of our brand and clients through innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create visual designs for both print and digital assets: flyers, brochures, web banners, social media graphics, presentations, signage, etc.
- Translate project briefs into clear design concepts and iterate based on feedback
- Ensure deliverables meet brand standards, deadlines, and technical specifications
- Prepare files for final production (print-ready formats, web-optimized graphics)
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, balancing multiple projects
- Stay current on design trends, tools, and technology to keep work fresh and relevant
Contract Terms
- Independent 1099 contractor role (contractor responsible for own taxes, insurance, equipment, and software)
- Work will be scoped in advance with defined deliverables, timelines, and revision limits
- Payment by invoice, at $45-$55/hour, with agreed terms (e.g. net 15/net 30)
- Confidentiality and IP assignment apply - all final creative assets produced belong to the company
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional design experience (agency, in-house, or freelance)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); familiarity with Figma or other design tools a plus
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout
- Strong communication skills, ability to manage deadlines independently
