Muslims in Need (MiN) is a UK-registered humanitarian charity dedicated to transforming the lives of the world’s most vulnerable communities. Our mission is to deliver sustainable relief, empower families, and uphold dignity through emergency response, water projects, orphan support, education, and long-term development. We operate across multiple countries, responding to crises and building strong community-led programmes with transparency at the core of everything we do. MiN is recruiting for a Lead Graphic Designer to join our expanding Communications & Fundraising Department. This position will play a central role in shaping the visual identity of MiN across all platforms—both digital and print—and will ensure the charity maintains a professional, impactful, and emotionally resonant brand. Requirements

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Essential:

• A qualification or significant professional experience in Graphic Design.
• A strong design portfolio showcasing brand identity, digital content, print design, and campaign work.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Strong organisational and project-management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance creative vision with organisational objectives.
• Experience producing design assets for both digital and print platforms.
• Proven experience developing brand identity and elevating visual standards.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong research skills, especially for understanding diverse donor audiences.
• Experience working with multiple internal stakeholders or clients.
• Commitment to MiN’s humanitarian mission and values.
• Ability to travel occasionally for events, content gathering, and meetings.

Desirable:

• Experience in the charity or humanitarian sector.
• Experience with video editing or motion graphics.
• Ability to storyboard and contribute to creative campaign ideation.

Role Responsibilities

As the Lead Graphic Designer, you will oversee the full creative design function at Muslims in Need. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design team and managing workflow, planning, and creative output.
• Ensuring all design materials align with MiN’s brand guidelines and humanitarian values.
• Producing visually compelling content for fundraising campaigns, emergency appeals, social media, print collateral, events, advocacy, and donor communications.
• Developing innovative visual concepts that strengthen MiN’s storytelling and donor engagement.
• Overseeing brand development and ensuring consistent implementation across all departments.
• Creating assets for digital advertising, websites, newsletters, and multimedia content.
• Supporting production of publications such as annual reports, brochures, and field updates.
• Occasionally assisting with storyboarding and visual direction for video productions.
• Working collaboratively with the fundraising, communications, programme, and operations teams.
• Ensuring all creative output is delivered on time, to high standards, and reflects MiN’s mission.
