Job Description

We are seeking a talented Freelance Graphic Designer to collaborate on diverse visual projects across branding, digital art, and marketing materials for our wellness brand, LÜME. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely on a variety of creative assignments. Ideally, you love creating assets in the wellness & food space. We are looking for someone who thinks outside the box and challenges conventional design norms for food packaging/branding. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in visual design principles, proficiency with industry-standard tools, and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual content. Experience in art direction, consumer packaging design for food products, motion graphics, and web design is highly desirable. As a freelance designer, you will contribute to branding initiatives, packaging design, create motion graphics, and produce content for print and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative concepts aligned with client branding strategies and project goals
• Design branding assets, food packaging, marketing materials, and digital content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc)
• Produce web-based designs including UI/UX layouts, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma.
• Manage color schemes, typography, and layout design to ensure cohesive visual identity across projects
• Collaborate with clients or team members to refine concepts through presentations and feedback sessions
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and industry standards for print advertising and digital media
• Stay updated on current design trends, tools, and techniques to continually enhance creative output.

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, design, digital art, and motion graphics preferably for consumer packaged goods, wellness etc.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), & Figma.
• Strong understanding of art direction, color management, typography, layout design, and print production processes.
• Ability to produce high-quality digital designs for various platforms including social media, websites, and print media.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to clients or team members.
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Information

For certain projects, we prefer to work in collaborative sessions over Google Meet so we can discuss and edit in real-time.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Work Location: Remote
