Job Description

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing digital agency seeking an exceptional Lead UX/UI Designer to spearhead their creative initiatives in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role requires a visionary individual who can translate complex user needs into intuitive, visually stunning, and highly functional digital experiences. You will lead design projects from conception through to execution, ensuring consistency in brand voice and user experience across all platforms. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a keen eye for aesthetics, and the ability to mentor junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for web and mobile applications, focusing on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to gather insights and iterate on designs.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement design solutions that meet business objectives and user needs.
• Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and best practices to ensure brand consistency and scalability.
• Mentor and guide a team of junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, articulating design decisions clearly and persuasively.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in the UX/UI field.
• Manage design timelines and deliverables in an agile development environment.
• Champion user-centered design throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing a strong track record of successful digital product design.
• Expertise in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, comfortable leading discussions and presenting to executive levels.
• Experience leading design projects and mentoring junior team members.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate seamlessly in a remote team setting.
• A strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
